Central Government give good news for contract working/outsource workers working in any ministry of departments under them. The Central Government Minimum Wages October 2023-24 is increased due to issue the Da notification. Let us know who will get its benefits and when?

Central Government Minimum Wages October 2023-24

Shri Remis Tiru, ​​Chief Labor Commissioner (Central) issued the notification of Central Sphere Dearness Allowance on 26 September 2023 on behalf of the Union Labor Ministry. The benefit of which will be available to all the contract employees, outsourced employees, day laborers etc. working under the Central Government department and ministry of the entire country.

Your minimum wages will be increased and get benefit of this from 01 October 2023 after this notification.

Central Sphere Minimum Wages October 2023

As per Minimum Wage Act 1948, there is a provision to revise your minimum wage in 5 years and issue dearness allowance twice in a year. Under which You get the benefit of increased dearness allowance once from 1st April and second time from 1st October every year. Let us know how much salary you will get per day from October 1, 2023, after this increase?

if minimum wages are not given?

If you ask, what will we do if we are not given minimum salary at the above rate from October 1, 2023? In this condition you have to follow given steps-

  1. You will talk to the principal employer along with your contractor for this.
  2. You will be submitting a written demand letter for given latest minimum wages (central sphere).
  3. If they do not respond or not given, then complaint before Reginal Labour Commissioner (Central) of your area.
