Uttar Pradesh Minimum Wages October 2023: If you are working as a private employee and laborer in the state of Uttar Pradesh. There is a big news for all of you. The Uttar Pradesh government has issued notification of dearness allowance for Private Employees or Labors. Under which your salary will increase. Let us know when and how much will your salary/wages increase?

UP Minimum Wages October 2023 

Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra, Deputy Labor Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh has issued the notification of dearness allowance for 74 scheduled planned units on 29.09.2023 on behalf of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.  If you work as a private employee/laborer, then you can see the list of 74 planned units in the notification, which is attached at the end of this post. The increased minimum wage rate will be applicable in the entire state of Uttar Pradesh from October 1, 2023, which will be as follows-

In above table, If you divide the monthly rate by 26, you can calculate one day’s salary. In which your basic and dearness allowance is combined. For more information about which you can read our old post What is Basic Salary?

Uttar Pradesh Minimum Wage October 2023

If you are not being paid at the above rate from October 01, 2023 by your employer then you can make a written complaint at the Labor Commissioner office of your area. Whenever you complain, you are being given salary or wages less than the minimum wage rate. Can demand ten times that amount as compensation.

 If you work as a contract worker in any Central Government department located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, you will get salary as per Central Sphere MinimumSalary October 2023. Which is much more than the minimum wage of Uttar Pradesh state government.
